Bahrain: Leading Human Rights Defender Nabeel Rajab Sentenced for Tweets by the Bahraini Authorities

On Tuesday 20 January, Nabeel Rajab was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. He will appeal this decision on February 11, 2015. But, in the meantime, he was demanded to pay a bail sum of 200BD in order to avoid detention before a decision is made on his appeal.
